- Experience Level-Intermediate
Scarlet came to us as an owner surrender when her family decided that she wasn't a good fit for their children. Scarlet is very gentle on the ground and rides well when kept close to the barn. Scarlet is being worked with by one of our trainers as she is barn and buddy sour. Scarlet is an amazing trail horse as she walks over or through anything pointed at her. Scarlet was ridden in our 13th annual Spring Benefit Trail ride in April by one of our volunteers. Scarlet is currently shod and even though she is only 14.1 HH she is stocky and can carry an adult rider. Scarlet would be okay with an advanced beginner to intermediate rider that would be able to rider her through being barn/buddy sour. Scarlet is NOT suitable for children as she has learned to take advantage of inexperienced riders. Scarlet is a very sweet soul and would make someone an amazing trail horse. She has previously been ridden in our pasture bareback and in a halter by one of our volunteers..
